My Story

My name is Jacob Deaville. I was born and raised here in Las Vegas. During the 2008 Recession, I worked selling trees and recycling steel to contribute to my family. I paid my way through college by delivering pizza and bussing tables.

Now, more than a decade later, Nevada has experienced the worst economic decline and the loss of freedoms at the hands of Democratic leaders like Steve Sisolak.

I determined that the best way to be independent, to preserve my individual freedoms, and to live my life as I see fit, was to start my own business and become a licensed contractor here in Nevada. My steel business currently operates here in Northwest Las Vegas.

Why I am running to represent Nevada Assembly District 4?

My father lived the American dream, growing up poor to becoming a general contractor and setting up his children for a better life. I attended Faith Lutheran High School as a state champion football player and graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor’s in History. I was elected President of UNLV College Republicans and began to fight for issues to keep our community safe.

My time in higher education showed me a simple, yet dangerous truth: Not everyone believes that the United States has been a force of good in the world. This corrosive mentality has taken over education from pre-K all the way to our high school seniors, and it has influenced the next generation. This thought process is now demonstrated at the highest levels in Nevada.

Governor Sisolak, in a few short years, closed my church, shut down businesses, kicked my nieces and nephews out of the classroom, and put masks on them when they were finally allowed to go back to school. Under this Democrat legislature, without any concern for the average Nevadan’s wellbeing, Nevada has been transformed from a pro-business, pro-family, pro-opportunity state to something that resembles California. Enough is enough.

Now, with the endorsement of community leaders such as State Controller Andy Matthews and Lieutenant Governor Stavros Anthony — I am ready to do my part while representing the people of Assembly District 4. I am prepared to represent my neighbors, to bring our concerns to Carson City, and to push for policies that will protect individual liberties and stand for small government principles. Nevada needs to be a place where people start businesses, raise their families, and are hopeful in the future of our State.
